SOFA officers and members are responsible for environmental protection.
At present, we maintain an annual plan apart from development plans. Through this program, we focus on conservation of natural environment resources via several ways as follows.
- By encouraging and making the community aware of the sustainable use and conservation of existing natural resources
- By conducting planting programs in reservations and catchment areas
- By implementing projects on the systematic removal of garbage
- Knowledge improvement of farmers on the reduction of carbon emissions and the prevention of cultivating genetically modified plants
- Conduct of environment programs at the school level, as SOFA recognizes it as a special responsibility and consequential investment for future generations.
- Setting up of medicinal herb gardens
- Identification of risk areas
